In nursing students spend two days a week at a vocational school where they acquire the theoretical knowledge that they need in their future occupation. The rest of the time they work in a nursing home or hospital , where they get to apply their newly acquired knowledge in practice and learn how their work spaces operate.
Employment prospects for students who have completed a dual vocational training program are very good. That is why this kind of training is very popular with young Germans : around two-thirds of all German students leaving school go on to start a dual vocational training program. After passing the final exams, students are recognized professionals in Europe and stand a good chance of starting a successful career in Germany .
Eligibility:
Educational qualification: 12th completed or diploma 10+3
(One should have your school-leaving certificate recognized to apply for a vocational training course.)
Language qualification: B1 Level Certification is mandatory
Age: 18 years – 24 Years
Duration:
Maximum 6 Months of Pre Semester
3 Years of Job training with a minimum of 930 euros stipend /month

Pay during Vocational Training:
Trainees will receive 93 0 Euros – 1200 Euros (monthly gross)

The Dual Vocational Training as a nurse comprises theoretical as well as practical elements and is carried out at a state-recognized health school as well as outpatient and inpatient care facilities.
The theoretical part of the nursing education which comprises a total of 2100 hours , provides nursing-related knowledge in the following areas:
Nursing and Health Science Natural Sciences and Medicine Social Sciences and Humanities Economy, Law, and Politics The practical training includes 2500 hours of practice in inpatient and outpatient facilities in various fields:
Internal Medicine Neurology Pediatrics Psychiatry Maternity and Nursing Station Gynecology Surgery Orthopedics As a qualified nurse, you take over the care, support, and advice of people in need of all ages and different life situations. You select appropriate preventative, curative and palliative measures and discuss them with the patient’s relatives. Your tasks include:
Body care such as washing, shower, and toilet Help with food intake Changing the bandages Dressing of wounds Measuring blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration Observing the patient with regard to sleeping behavior and frequency of toilet visits Documenting the data using appropriate software Care of seriously ill and End-of-life care

Admission Process
Steps for admission:
GotoGermany Document check AAF (admission acceptance form) will be sent once GotoGermany has received all documents AAF needs to be signed by the student within a week Students need to pay administration fee by the date mentioned in AAF Student needs to pay course fee 3 weeks before the visa date Documents required via Courier for the check at the ministry of education
